Uniforms, General Information:

• The red and blue Donovan jersey set, and the white Playground jersey are the officially sponsored jersey of AYSO. Players wear the same jersey every season: returning players do not need to purchase jerseys unless replacements are needed. The red and blue are only sold as a set and cannot be purchased individually.
• A full uniform consists of a jersey, black shorts (no pockets or logos), black socks (solid in color and must cover the entire shin guard), shin guards and soccer cleats (does not have a toe-cleat, color doesn’t matter!). In preparation for the possibility of taking teams to Area (Fall) and National (Spring) tournaments, it is important that all players on a team wear the same uniform!
  
• Black shorts and socks are available to purchase through the webstore, but may be purchased elsewhere as long as they fulfil the requirements listed below.
• Uniform items are sold individually for purchase flexibility.
• Uniforms are required to be worn during all games, so it is recommended that purchases be made as soon as possible! Referees generally do not allow players to play without the correct jersey and will not allow players to play without the correct equipment!
• Generally, uniforms will arrive within two days of ordering, but allow for a one-week turnaround.
• Players in 8u and above should always bring both jerseys, even if a specific color was specified for the game! Generally blue is the home color and red is the away color; however, some teams we play may have specially ordered jerseys that will clash.
• Remember: no watches, rings, earrings or other piercings, necklaces, or bracelets may be worn during match play! Soft hairbands, wristbands and headbands may be worn, but no hard hair clips, bobby pins, etc!

Uniform Requirements by age groups:

Kickstart (ages 3 through 5)*:
- Required:
Playground jersey (White)
Shin guards
Socks that cover the shin guards
-Optional: Soccer cleats are recommended, but availability can be limited in your child’s sizing. Tennis shoes are allowed for this age group.
-You are not required to have the red and blue jerseys!

8u (ages 6-7)
-Required:
Donovan set (Both red and blue jerseys)
Soccer shorts (black recommended)
Soccer socks (black recommended)
Shin guards
Soccer cleats

10u and older (ages 8-19):
- Required:
Donovan set (Both red and blue jerseys)
Black soccer shorts (no pockets or visible logos)
Black soccer socks (solid color, no visible logos)
Shin guards
Soccer cleats
